Stephanie and I got a couple kitties on saturday. One boy and one girl, both tabbies about 11 weeks old. The first day they came home they seemed to have adjusted pretty well, but the next day a curious thing started creeping up. The boy wouldn't stop sleeping. At first we thought he was just tired and stressed from the move, but 8 hours later we knew something was up. He hasn't eaten anything since the first day and he barely drinks water. Steph took him to the vet yesterday and appearantly they weren't very helpful. They gave her some diarhetic meds and told her to bring the cat back in 24 hours if he didn't start eating. Well, he didn't start eating so we took him to a different vet cuz the first people were pretty douchie. This vet was very friendly and helpful. She said Rampage has a bit of a high temperature of 103, the average is 102.5 so it's not that bad I guess, and he probably has a URI, Upper Respiratory Infection. She wanted to keep the cat overnight to keep an eye on it and run some more tests. I felt comfortable with these people and so did Snaw so he's there right now, sitting in a cage or on his pillow or whatever they're doing to him....He's in good hands. She said she's gonna give him some appetite stimulants and maybe some drugs to help him out. We'll know by tomorrow what's going on with him :( I want this to be over with. Stephanie's lost a lot of sleep and missed a few days of school and i've had a pretty bad attitude at work.
